Limba modernă 2 Chineză is the first set of Chinese teaching materials specifically designed for the basic education stage in Romania. This series of teaching materials consists of four volumes in total and is suitable for Chinese courses in Romanian high schools where Chinese is taught as a second foreign language. It is recommended to have 2 class-hours per week, and one volume should be used each academic year.
The textbooks are compiled with reference to the Chinese teaching syllabus issued by the Romanian Ministry of Education, covering all the language points and Chinese cultural knowledge points in the syllabus. Meanwhile, they also refer to the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Education, striving to conform to the scientific laws of international Chinese education, the requirements of the Romanian national education system for foreign language teaching textbooks, and the local language policies.
